Designed as a climbable hangout structure, the Byfield Double is adaptive across multiple age groups, with space for everyone. Younger children can climb and sit, experiencing the gentle swinging of the net. Older children can scramble and hangout, engrossed in private conversations yet connected to the broader play environment. Adults can engage with the children in their care, or simply observe the goings on around them. The additional steel archwork brings an additional architectural and tactile element to the piece.
