Inspired by the extensive aerial root structure of Queensland mangroves, the Daintree system is anchored by a towering 6.3m Australian Hardwood Timber trunk, with steel arches gracefully curving to the ground and supporting swinging climbing pommels. More than a stunning aesthetic element, children must use their strength and problem solving skills to traverse through the three-dimensional “roots” of the system as the pommels swing and move.
